A stone company built on the coast
Sidheswar Ltd was incorporated in 2001 to supply stone tiles and waterproofing products. As demand grew, we turned to the stones found on our doorstep and across East Africa.
Our range now covers about fifteen stones and colours: Galana and Maji ya Chumvi tiles, coral stone facing, Machakos silver, black stone from Lunga Lunga, Tanga yellow stone with its timber-like grain, and Nairobi grey, blue and yellow.
Each stone is quarried or collected in its raw form and brought to our Mombasa workshop, where it is cut to finished sizes and shapes. Our directors bring more than 25 years of construction experience in Kenya and the wider region, so we can advise on anything from a single feature wall to a resort.

Stone is quarried or collected from riverbeds in Kenya and Tanzania.
Cut in Mombasa
Our workshop cuts each stone to tile, strip, gutter or custom sizes.
Laid with ordinary cement
No special adhesive is needed; it is laid with ordinary Portland cement and a colour-matched grout.
Finished your way
Leave it natural, or seal, wax or resin-coat it to deepen the colour and protect the surface.
